Who we are.
My name is Andrew, owner of Morphic Geotechnical. I have been married to my wife for nearly thirty years, which demonstrates that opposites indeed attract; she enjoys reading a book on the beach, whereas I would rather participate in a triathlon in the mountains. We have three grown children that make us proud and two grandkids that make us smile. My path to geology was nowhere near linear. I began my career path, driven by my dedication to supporting my family and my community, in law enforcement while also serving in the Army. An injury sustained in Iraq sent me through years of physical rehabilitation and eventually back to school where I pursued a business degree. I used that knowledge to pursue careers in the oil and gas field, both as a gas controller operator and as a field manager. I have always navigated towards the science field and the great outdoors, so when an opportunity presented itself to explore a position in seismology and geology, I leapt. After earning a degree in environmental geology and marching down a new career path, I gained knowledge and experience that led me to start Morphic Geotechnical. My career journey has taken many paths, but each experience has equipped me with valuable skills that align with my core values: assisting others in their times of need, fostering a safe environment, and seeking out opportunities for adventure and creative problem-solving.
